Happy solstice, even if where I am it rained all through the shortest night and the longest day appears to be continuing the tradition. Summer comes in anyway. The year keeps turning.
Happy solstice to you as well. It rained all night here too, which seems strange to me given how far apart we are. I guess that's just the kind of year it is.
Summer did come in with an abrupt increase in humidity, though the hot weather is not coming til next week and I see they have already dropped the forecast highs a degree or two. Everything that can do so in cooler temperatures than generally occur is really going to town and walking around in its best bonnet, though. The peonies are amazing.
Happy solstice! Lovely that you had rain - we were half-promised some, but it hasn't come to anything. We are getting a hearty dose of warmth, though - the minimum tonight will be 29 Celsius, again.
