Happy solstice, even if where I am it rained all through the shortest night and the longest day appears to be continuing the tradition. Summer comes in anyway. The year keeps turning.

Lovely that you had rain - we were half-promised some, but it hasn't come to anything.

I would certainly rather have rain than drought. And today has been brilliantly clear, which feels like a nice start to the season.

We are getting a hearty dose of warmth, though - the minimum tonight will be 29 Celsius, again.

I'm so glad you've got that mango tree.
