The #nonbinaryrake sequel to Jeannelle M. Ferreira's The Covert Captain (2018) is still in progress, but that seemed insufficient reason for me not to start making fanart for it. I am not wholly satisfied with all squares in this aesthetic post—it was harder than I thought to find photos of small children in Regency settings—but at least this time I didn't have to do all the HTML myself.

You know I wondered whether that one photo was from a Jane Austen novel! And, coincidentally, Persuasion just arrived from Netflix--looking forward to watching it.

And I Did Not Know about Miss Anne Lister. That is cool, and also not surprising--the world was way more full of LGTBQ folks all through history than the dominant narrative ever wanted to acknowledge.
