I left the house to meet my mother for ice cream and pick up my copy of Forrest Reid's Brian Westby (1934) from Porter Square Books and there was a box on my front steps.



One copy went home signed with my mother. I'm keeping the rest. They have made this day much, much better.

Thank you for re-ordering. I am sorry for the complications and I am not sure what caused them: when I look at the Amazon page, it tells me the book's in stock, and my publisher also says that Amazon should have plenty of copies; he can't see anything wrong on his end. Please keep me posted.

I'm seeing it as available from something called PBShopUS rather than from Amazon proper. But this is something Lethe should worry about, not you. If it is something to worry about, of course -- I could turn out to be making a fuss about nothing.
