Am I doing it? Can I have it all now?
Nothing makes an author feel more in touch with their juvenilia than building a bibliography that goes back seventeen years.
Nothing makes an author feel more out of touch in general than realizing just how many 'zines their career has apparently outlived.
In other news, I'm working on a website. Bibliography, interviews, biography, reviews. Tiny Wittgenstein is in a state of nervous prostration behind my desktop speakers. I am about to peel myself off the keyboard into bed. Self-promotion is exhausting.

Thank you. There was just a patch in the poetry where I felt very prolific and very awkward.

Of course, you'll need to keep it up to date, because the exhaustion of self-promotion is never-ending, but the principle stands.

Thank you. Getting the website to do the talking for me turned out to be a surprisingly stressful part of the process, but at least it should now just be there.

Thank you.
I would enjoy winning all, or even a lot of, the awards. I actually think the stories are worth it.

Thank you. I think I stuffed him into a boot or something around the Kuiper belt object story.

(Sorry for the really late comment, thesis and moving made it fairly impossible to keep up with Dreamwidth for a while!)

Clearly we need more zines. They don't have much of a lifespan.

(No worries! I hope the thesis and the move went well.)
