I am returned from Providence of much packing and reunited with my own cats whose warmth and weight and colony scent I have been missing, gracious hosts though Lydia and Selwyn were. He has always climbed onto my shoulder, ever since he was a tiny kitten. He is much too big to fit on my shoulder anymore, but he has not relinquished his claim to the territory, and I hope he never does.
