I have an ear infection! I thought it was weather-changing headaches from the not-an-easter, but no. It got to the point where it hurt too much to sleep on my left side and I saw a doctor. I really could have sworn this model was supposed to come with an immune system.

In better news, greygirlbeast linked me the Decemberists' latest drowning song: "Rusalka, Rusalka/Wild Rushes." Salt marsh, sirens, and wedding the sea. Yes, all right.

I may revise my plans for this evening to collapse.

Thank you. They have been solicitous. When I get into bed, Autolycus comes and tucks himself up against my stomach, like a small breathing hot-water bottle. It is very comforting.

Saffron did that with me when I had the flu. It is the best thing. Sometimes the hot-water bottle purrs, too.
