I get a non-negligible percentage of my music videos from rushthatspeaks, of which the most recent and earworm is Superfruit's "GUY.exe" (2017). It came with a comparison to Miike Snow's "Genghis Khan" (2016), which it deserves. It may be the best mad science music video I've seen since Kate Bush's "Experiment IV" (1986). That was thirty years ago and way less queer. (I will be stunned if there is not some Rocky Horror in this thing's DNA.) I have now watched about six of this band's music videos in a row; they remind me a lot of The Pack a.d. except for being totally different genres. "Hurry Up!" and "Deny U" got my attention next, but really everything I have encountered so far has been delightful. "Worth It (Perfect)" is in fact a flawless little Hollywood production number. The featured dancer in "Sexy Ladies" is Parker Kit Hill and he is fantastic.

That's adorable and definitely a brother-video for "Genghis Khan." Randomly, at the very beginning, when it shows the brick walls of their lab, I found myself thinking, "ooh, now see--they repurposed an old mill! Post-industrial sites CAN make a comeback if someone mad scientists would just be willing to invest.

I really loved the heads singing along.

rushthatspeaks says the person they got it from envisioned the two videos as taking place in the same universe, which I would be willing to believe. Now I'm trying to think if I know any other, similar music videos I would program with them.

"Guy.exe" is TOTALLY 2017 Rocky Horror, and the little kids in "Worth It (Perfect)" were adorable and excellent dancers. But my favorite had to be "Genghis Khan", which I'd been hearing played here and there for the last year, and had assumed was a perfectly unremarkable, straight pop song. I never knew the video featured gay James Bond!
