A is for the address on the letter

Yea, my parents are, how do you say, drad. They got me the Dresden Dolls' Yes, Virginia . . . (It's a beautifully designed CD booklet. Wow.) Excuse me while I disappear into musical seclusion.

Hope you're enjoying it! I finally saw them on that Jimmy Kimmel show this week. I loved watching her play that piano with all the intensity building in her, unable to keep her to the seat. I swear I thought she'd break right through the keys.

Sonya, thanks for the links to Pretty Balanced and Voltaire. I'm going to check them out as soon as I'm finished with LJ here. If I can't get anything from them (I'm still on dialup--something about the area I live in), I'll let you know and take you up on the offer to e-mail something. And of course, if you have time to send a track from Yes, Virginia, I'd love to hear it. Hope you're still enjoying!

Thanks, and yes, I do like it. I'm going to want the new CD (though I'm not ready to pull the one I have from my CD player just yet). Now, onto more listening ...

Ha, ha, ha, ha, big smiles ... Voltaire is funny.
