Tonight my family celebrated Rosh Hashanah not only with honeycake, but with the unexpected early birthday cake my mother baked for me and my cousin Tristen, who is now almost fourteen and already over six feet tall. I am unpacking the first six twelve boxes of my books onto the shelves I finally got onto my walls last week.
