The strategy guide says this world is a maze
My poems "The Other Lives" and "A Death of Hippolytos" have been accepted by The Cascadia Subduction Zone. The first was written for
rose_lemberg after a discussion of Ursula K. Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness (1969); the second was the result of thinking about Jules Dassin's Phaedra (1962).
I don't seem to have linked when "The Lost Aphrodite" became available with the rest of its issue of The CSZ, so here it is online. It was also written for Rose, who asked me last July for a poem "connected to stones . . . Boulders, pebbles. Not the fancy ones." I have no idea why it turned up on the commuter rail to Salem, but then again it didn't behave like most of my poems about the archaeological past.
We don't seem to have rain, but it is dark and windy outside; I made an apple crisp. It looks like fall.
[edit] I have just been informed that my short story "The Trinitite Golem" (Clockwork Phoenix 5) is available to read online at the relevant SFWA members-only forum for Nebula consideration, being eligible for a Nebula this year. So, anybody wants to nominate that, I'd be delighted.

I hope you find this autumn mellow and pleasant.

Frankly, I always recommend apple crisp.
Despite threat of storms we conducted our weekend activities without rain, which was a nice surprise.
We were hoping for storms. There's drought here. It's misting outside now and I'm hoping it turns into real rain.
I hope you find this autumn mellow and pleasant.
Thank you. You, too.

It looks like we may be sharing a ToC again.
Oh, excellent. Congratulations in turn!

I'm jealous of your apple crisp. Maybe I'll look into making one myself.

I unequivocally recommend it.
