I'd do anything to see you again

My poem "The Ghost Marriage" has been accepted by Uncanny Magazine. I wrote it after falling in love with Black Angel (1946) in December; even at the time, the motifs of music and the underworld made me think of a kind of half-genderflipped Orpheus and Eurydike. I suppose it is a ghost poem for people who never existed. I think those count.

I have a crushing headache. I'm assuming it's weather-related, with the rain outside, but it's the kind that makes even my teeth feel nauseated.

Congrats on the poem!

Sorry to hear about the headache--I hope it abates soon.

Congratulations on the poetry sale! I ended up watching Black Angel after you wrote about it, and I look forward to reading the poem.

I hope your headache goes away soon.

I've never seen "Euridike" written that way. More-literal transliteration?

I'm sorry you have to deal with these headaches. But congratulations on the poem acceptance! I just requested your collection Ghost Signs for my birthday. I'm excited to read your work and hold it in my hands. I miss it!
