You're sitting here wondering what it's all about

I am doing much better now, but I just spent seven and a half hours in Mount Auburn's ER for reasons that were both surprising and extremely painful and I should like not to repeat the experience, please.

Immediate plans: sleep. I insist on not missing the marathon on Sunday.

Ow! Sympathy.

ERs are far from my favourite place, and 7.5 hours in one is above and beyond anything reasonable.

Oh gosh! I am so sorry to hear that! :(

I spent 6.5 hours in an ED last year, and barely coped. If I hadn't had SO with me, I wouldn't have lasted that long without

a) having a spectacular meltdown
b) leaving
c) both.

*all the sympathies and empathies*

YIKES. ERs are horrible places. I hope you continue to recover swiftly!

Ugh. I'm so sorry. I hope you feel tons better after sleep and do not miss your marathon.

Given my anecdata, 7 hours in an ER is about average. I hope they've replaced the chairs in the Mt Auburn ER sometime in the last 15 years with something more comfortable, for whoever was with you.

Eep. Glad you're feeling better. (I missed reading DW/LJ yesterday--catching up now.)

Well, shit. I am, at least, glad that you are out again.

That sounds awful. I hope whatever it was that it can be prevented from happening again.

Sending you strength.

Yeek. I AM sitting here* wondering what it's all about, but I hope that you are asleep. And yes, that you do not have to repeat whateverthehell.

I hope that you will sleep well, and wake better.

I hate it when that happens. It's unfortunate that just the experience of being in the ER needs recovering from, as well as whatever took you there. I'm very glad you are doing better.

P.
