Her home's on the water and she sure don't like land

The light was right for winter, even if the dry green yard wasn't. I am drinking eggnog. [livejournal.com profile] fleurdelis28 has been reading me scientific facts I didn't know about hermit crabs and different species of nautilus and conch. [livejournal.com profile] derspatchel got me the first of Alec Guinness' three autobiographies, the one I didn't already own. I slept nearly eight hours for Christmas night.

I'll take it.

[edit] Because my parents understand and support my lifestyle, they have given me TCM's Forbidden Hollywood Volume 3, collecting such pre-Code favorites as William Wellman's Other Men's Women (1931), Heroes for Sale (1933), and Wild Boys of the Road (1933), and a rather nice-looking DVD of Black Angel (1946).

Merry Christmas, all.

A good night's sleep and an Alec Guinness autobiography are fine Christmas presents!

Hermit crabs, nautilus, and conch! Alec Guinness, a good night's sleep, and pre-Code films!

These are all Good Things.

Very glad.
