Hey, kid, it's secret history

I just realized that I completely failed to observe or even notice the tenth anniversary of this journal when it came around. I got an account with LiveJournal—my first foray into social media—and posted my first entry on December 30th, 2004. On December 30th, 2014, apparently I was talking about movies.

I started my journal two years and 13 days later--but it wasn't until a year and eight months later that you and I became LJ friends, or so my archive tells me (here).

And most of those people are no longer reliably on LJ! This journal has outlasted its strictest purpose! I regret nothing.
