This is just to register my approval that the Roma Sub Rosa novel that prominently features pirates (bandits who sail the Nile, whatever), a case of mistaken identity, and an abduction by same, also closes with a recognition scene between two long-lost twins and their estranged father. Let it never be said A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum was the last great flourish of the Hellenistic romance.

rushthatspeaks called this the best music video they had seen in some time and I cannot disagree: FKA twigs, "Two Weeks." It feels like the closest anyone is going to get to filming some of the early novels of Tanith Lee.
