I am thirty-three years old. There are cave paintings in Sulawesi as old as Europe's cave art. strange_selkie gave me a bingo card (that's a satyr in the free space), there's a great siren in Alabaster: Grimmer Tales, and I had my first voice lesson in four weeks.

So far, so good.

Huh. For some reason I thought you were a year or two older than me, not a year younger.

I was born in 1981. I'm pretty sure my math's right.

(I am terrible at other people's ages and, if it seems relevant, flat-out tend to ask.)

Oh, your math is right; I was born in '80. Just that the one time I met you in person, you were impressive, and my brain interpreted this as you also being older than me. :-)
