derspatchel took me out to Bronwyn tonight for eve-of-birthday dinner and I ate a whole fish.

(We have a German restaurant in SF too, tho' I have not eaten fish there; their sausage is too good...)

Usually we split the wurst plate, because Bronwyn makes the best blutwurst I have ever eaten. Last night was the Oktoberfest menu, so derspatchel got the wurst trio (kielbasa, currywurst, frankfurter); but I saw the whole smoked mackerel and that was that.
