Was it warm, or just the Thing that was different? Many years ago, a woman I knew in an online cat group posted a picture of her two Russian Blues. These two cats were siblings, but often not on the best of terms. In this picture, they were scrunched up tight against each other in the middle of a large (human) bed, and both cats looked uncomfortable, slightly angry, and very stubborn. She provided the explanation that she had left a post-it note on the bed and came back to find that scene.

It is warm under my desk lamp and the external hard drive was there. (It's also warm when it's running, but I'd had my computer in the other room for some time; I suspect any heat it retained was a function of being black and under a light source, not unlike the cats.)
She provided the explanation that she had left a post-it note on the bed and came back to find that scene.

No, but only because I had my laptop with me in the living room. They are piled atop my external hard drive, though.
