We had a seance at the house last night and it ran on until all hours

I woke up early this morning to catch a double feature of Don KnottsThe Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966) and The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964)—at the Somerville Theatre with [livejournal.com profile] derspatchel.

I am staying up late tonight to catch Hausu (1977) at the Brattle with [livejournal.com profile] rushthatspeaks.

I don't know what I'm doing with my life, but I think it's the right thing.

"A man-eating piano." Hee. I'll take that over most giallo. Good bookends for the day.

Hausu sounds brilliantly absurd. I hope it's everything you'd wish it to be.

Excellent! I saw Hausu for the first time recently, and it's quite something.

"...and, for some reason, a carload of watermelons."

How on earth was it?

Nine

Excellent. The carload was actually of bananas.

That's almost too bad, since watermelons would be an interesting bit of inter-contextuality with Buckaroo Bonsai.
