1. Dammit, I'd have observed Alec Guinness' centenary if I'd known! Good thing derspatchel bought that box set of Ealing comedies.

3. Rob and I have now been married for six months. We celebrated with dinner at Some 'Ting Nice (GOAT ROTI) and walked home through the deepening blue air of evening. We passed my old residence on Dartmouth Street, coming around to Broadway where we could see a strip of after-sunset cloud like mountains across the horizon. The initials we scratched into the drying concrete last August are still there.



So are we.
