And winter's gone away-o
Rabbit, rabbit.
Would everybody like some Falstaff and Prince Hal singing "Hal-an-Tow" for May Day? Here's the Watersons if you prefer it without Shakespeare, although I'm afraid Roger Allam comes with the Globe.
My hair is the shortest it's been since elementary school. There was a miscommunication about trimming split ends. It stops now at the middle of my back. I am disoriented every time I move and it doesn't settle or catch where I'm used to. I'm hoping it grows quickly; the last thing I need right now (aside from the obvious choices like unemployment, terminal illness, or sudden death) is something else to make me feel estranged from my body. I had leftover pizza for lunch, though, so I think I'm finally over this stomach flu.
The sun just got around to coming out for May Day, so I'm going to go out in it. I'm still not convinced about winter, but let's be optimists.

Thank you. It was nice to be out in. I plan to repeat the gesture later today.

Here's hoping that your locks will grow as swiftly as spring flowers in a time-lapse, as if the Fisher King rose up and went a-Maying.

I might have to do something with that. Or the Fisher King, at least. I wish my ability to write prose would come back online. It's dropped off again.

We can grow back out together.
May things grow back to the correct-feeling length again soon.
