When your e-mail goes down, do you lose access to it temporarily or do those messages disappear forever? Or some entertaining mixture of the two? (I sent some non-urgent but time-sensitive SH stuff and can copy into a private message OR just assume things will be worked out in a few days and leave it alone.)

Unless you're receiving failure-to-deliver bounces, the messages should be there when I can get to them. (Still no e-mail today.) If I finally get into the account and there's nothing there from you, or if the latest message stops on Thursday night, I'll put out a blanket request for people to re-send things to me, but that has actually never happened.
