My poem "Cuneiform Toast" is now online at the new electronic Mythic Delirium. Its inspirations are mostly explained by the author's notes, but it takes its name from these earrings by [livejournal.com profile] elisem and it is not a ghost poem. I don't know how its subject feels about cats.

This has been a devastating week. Last week wasn't so hot either. This has been an incredibly mixed month.

There is writing: I take hope from that.

That is a gorgeous poem.

I am sorry for your week. And for your loss.

Lovely :)

(I really appreciated having the author's notes, too, because I am not nearly so well-read in the classics as you!)

I love this poem, and I loved hearing you read it.

Weeks with deaths in them are usually devastating weeks.

I liked that poem a great deal when first I read it, and I feel much the same still. Congratulations on its going online.

I'm sorry for your week and fortnight and the trouble and sadness of them.

I love that poem.

(And also your current music.)
