You were our patron saint, yet still they blame us for only praying to be famous

Athanasius
You are Athanasius! You are willing to fight a
losing battle, just to make sure that the truth
is told. But don't get discouraged; sometimes
it takes more than one lifetime for truth to
triumph.

Which Saint Are You?

I would have preferred to come up with a slightly more outlandish result, like Saint Isidore, myself. (Or Saint Katherine. I've been fond of Katherine of Alexandria ever since I first read Sheri Holman's A Stolen Tongue. Not to mention the narrator, Friar Felix Fabri, who fulfills the "interestingly neurotic" niche of my interests.) But I really do like the "If you could write a book . . ." question.

I'm Julien of Norwich, apparently. Consistently so.

St Francis of Assisi. How disappointingly humane of me.

Me too. Though I blame the job. You have no excuse.

We haven't gotten your thinger yet!
Are you coming?

I haven't gotten my thinger yet either! So I don't know. *rummages around LJ to try to figure out date; counts; and checks calendar* Ironically, I suspect that is the weekend I will be in D.C. In which case, that's actually the second time this sort of thing has happened around that particular weekend.

Hey, you're lucky--I got Jeanne d'Arc. I would have liked to be Anastasius. Guess I should have opted for "The Big Book of Truth".
And yeah, the books rule.

I'm going to guess they don't have the really fun saints.

If I don't come up Dymphna, I'll know this thing is rigged.
