Damned if I do, my love; damned if I don't, my sweet

I think I stole this from [livejournal.com profile] elisem. It will give my critical faculties some time off while I assemble my thoughts about Deacon Silvey. And re-read Hugh Whitemore's Breaking the Code, because I watched two episodes of Cadfael last night and my brain is stuck on Derek Jacobi. The two . . . sort of mix. Right?

(Whoa, it comes with its own LJ-cut!)

The Random Question Meme!

An array of completely random questions about my friends!

What does [livejournal.com profile] dingbatfiction spend the most time doing?
Transmitting inconvenience, drinking beer, and handing out business cards for Syrian vipers.
Why is [livejournal.com profile] muchabstracted sneaking up behind you right now?
I daren't say for fear she'll read the answer over my shoulder.
What is the most insightful thing you have heard [livejournal.com profile] strange_selkie say?
"It blew up!" (I swear it made sense in context.)
Have you ever seen [livejournal.com profile] thomasfreund naked?
No. Er. No. Thank you.
What would [livejournal.com profile] godlyperspectiv be like on an LSD trip?
It's entirely possible I wouldn't be able to tell.
Who would make a better window-washer, [livejournal.com profile] shirei_shibolim or [livejournal.com profile] faustfatale?
The former, indubitably. Not only would you get your windows washed, you'd probably learn all about obscure rabbinic commentaries at the same time, and there'd be fresh bread waiting for you afterward.
What is the most embarrassing thing you know about [livejournal.com profile] scathedobsidian?
I don't think I know, to be fair. Someone tell me an embarrassing [livejournal.com profile] scathedobsidian story?
What do [livejournal.com profile] jolest and [livejournal.com profile] apotropaism have in common?
. . . they both have livejournals? I got nothing here, people.
Why would [livejournal.com profile] rambleflower go to heaven but [livejournal.com profile] spectre_general go to hell?
But in Hell will I go. For to Hell go the fair clerks and the fair knights who are slain in the tourney and the great wars, and the stout archer and the loyal man. With them will I go.
What kind of person would you set up with [livejournal.com profile] rushthatspeaks?
Exactly the kind of person she's married to.

*shakes fist impotently* You can't keep the answer from me forever! Some day I will find out.

When I followed the links, this meme raised mostly uninteresting questions for me. Then I got to the last question, and it asked, "Can [livejournal.com profile] terriqat raise the dead to perform common household tasks?"

[identity profile] fleurdelis28.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
If anyone could, [livejournal.com profile] terriqat would have my vote.

She can't, sadly, or else she cruelly chose not to exercise the talent during the period in which we were roommates. It would have been really nice if zombies washed our dishes.

I got "Doesn't [livejournal.com profile] sovay have anything better to do?"

Nine

If I ever find out myself, I'll let you know. :)

Well, it did.
