No one can take your dreams away

I dreamed last night that I was reading the intermediary Harry Potter—you know, the one that comes between #6 and #7—in which Ginny was engaged in some secret project involving Time that caused clocks to go haywire every time she came near them, and nobody knew where the hell Harry was, and Snape was hanging out in some Muggle café as a tutor to a university student.* I was so disappointed when I woke up, especially since I hadn't read to the end of the book by that point . . .**

What the hell?

*As [livejournal.com profile] fleurdelis28 says: "Snape in Starbucks? Wow." In plainclothes, too. And tutoring something like literature of the fantastic: wizarding history recast as fiction. I had a sudden vision of his double life at Hogwarts and Cambridge . . .

**A common problem in my dreams. But not usually with Harry Potter!

I do think I want to read this intemediary book as well. I also had a HP related dream after reading the book at which time I decided to take a little HP break. At this point, I would be hard-pressed to even remember the dream. I can only recall a general amount of embarrassment over how much of my brainwaves were HP devoted.
