I'm as mysterious to myself as I am mysterious to others
Leonora Carrington. I had just been pleasantly surprised to discover she was still alive and painting!
time_shark, write her a muse, even if it was herself.
Sometime I shall find out why I stayed so long here, while I am happily contemplating reindeer and snow, cherry trees, meadows, the song of the thrush.

ETA: It's not fabulous that she died, obviously, but that she lived this long. I need to stop commenting while tired.

I had that happen with Christopher Fry. It isn't even that he was younger than I'd thought, because he was born in 1907; he was just very long-lived, so that when he died in 2005, I'd been assuming him dead for about thirty years.

Congratulations! I look forward to reading it.
