I can chart the course of your star like a dirty hand in glove

I do not read the New Haven Advocate. But as I see from their notice for my poetry reading tomorrow (thank you, Katherine!), they certainly seem to know who I am:
"Hey, why don't you come back to my hotel room and 'read some poetry?'" Savvy business move or shameless proposition? Whatever the case, it worked for Yale PhD candidate Sonya Taaffe, whose hotel-lobby query to a publisher led to a steamy night of reading, and a deal for publication.
Approximately 75% of that story is true. Wow. I feel like a 1930's film starlet.
People had better come to the reading after this!

Anyway, it's pretty cool to score a write-up that specific before the thing even happens. Good for you.

And I can say that after the poetry reading, I'm the one that gets to go home with you ;)
