Come with the sun and getting restless when it's gone
1. The snowpocalypse turned into freezing rain; I had to shovel chunks of ice off the front steps. I believe it may still be raining. Once again, betrayed by porn.
2. Yesterday's mail, slogging bravely through the falling snow clumps, brought my contributor's copy of the latest annual not-Not One of Us publication, Love Is a Hurtin' Thing. It opens with Patricia Russo's "People Love What They Love" and closes with my poem "Sefer Yetzirah," which I am very glad to have in print; it is a love letter with golems. I will post links as soon as they're available.
3. My poems "Anakatabasis" (Hidden) and "In the Earth in Those Days" (Not One of Us #44) have been nominated for the Rhysling Award.
4. I have to catch a plane. My godchild turns one on Saturday.

And your godchild will be excited to see you and yank, yank, yank your hair. I suggest you practice your delivery of the key phrase, "Gentle with the kitty!"
... because anything with that much hair is a kitty.
:) *hugs* Safe journey.

I can live with that.

Landed safe. Falling over. See you soon.
