An announcement I should have made earlier in the week, except I was hibernating.

This Saturday, I will be taking part in a reading to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Strange Horizons. The place is Pandemonium Books & Games, the time is 2 to 3:30 PM. (Scroll down through the calendar of events and you'll see it.) Francesca Forrest, Theodora Goss, Margaret Ronald, and Vandana Singh are some of the authors I share a bill with. There may be snacks. It'll be cool.

I am starting to feel my greeting for the New Year should not be next year in Jerusalem, but next year with less wrong on the internet. But it's wrong on the internet because it's wrong in life, so.

Poetry; no secret. Probably "Radio Banquo," "ὡς πολλοῖς ὄμμασιν εἰς σὲ βλέπω," and either "The Gambler" or "The Chymical Marriage," as time allows. I have to mess around with a stopwatch and see what works. If I'm reading "ὡς πολλοῖς ὄμμασιν . . ." I should probably at least gloss the two epigrams by Plato, and that will take time.
