The secrets that you want to know are yours, not mine
Since apparently it now needs to be stated:
Do not crosspost comments on any locked entries on this journal to Twitter or Facebook. It will not be taken kindly. If I wanted to avail myself of either of those forms of social media, I'd have accounts there.
Seriously, LJ, what the hell?

You see that when you post a comment, it now asks if you would like the comment to be reposted to Facebook or Twitter? This works with friendlocked posts:
If you set your default to cross-post comments, ALL of your comments, including screened and Friends Only comments, can be cross-posted whenever you choose. Only public comments, however, will be preselected to cross-post. If you wish to cross-post a Friends Only or screened comment, you will need to select the cross-posting option manually when you post the comment. Of course, you can override your settings on a per-comment basis, so you have complete control over whether to cross-post each and every comment.
I use locked posts for writing-related things. This is not okay by me.

At least they didn't make posting to FB and Twitter the default setting, but the only way I had of knowing that was actually checking... which took longer than it should have.
