Will any doctor with knowledge of lurgi please communicate with Doctor Hercules Grytpype-Thynne?

The well-wishes are appreciated, but they don't seem to have worked. The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945) was on TCM tonight and all my sympathies were with the portrait. I'm going to read some more Frederic Morton and go to bed.

Lurgis should not be so vulgar as to outstay their welcome. I'm sorry you've been invaded by a rude one.

Yes! We just saw the newer version of this film the other night and I felt the same way.

I do hope you feel better soon.

It was watchable, I didn't fall asleep as I usually do when a movie bores me to tears, but it was certainly lacking. No emotional attachment to any character except for the daughter of Dorian's old "friend" who was stupid enough to fall for Dorian when she grew up. She at least *had* a character. Dorian himself was meh.

Ach, I hope it passes quickly and leaves you stronger in its wake! *hugs*

Sorry you have been struck with the dreaded Lurgi. I recommend Theriac.

(Do you want the text of my "Drunken Brawls in Brothels" paper to cheer you up?)

I'm sorry. Wish I could locate the appropriate doctor for you.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks.

Lurgi, begone!

Obviously, more mojo (and sleep) are in order.

Have you had the proper infusion of honey, lemon, and brass band instruments?

Then he should get it airborne post-haste. Better still: arrange for an aerial bombardment of tubas from Boosey & Hawkes.

You are not alone! I'm sure your neighbors are suddenly breaking out with "Yackaboooo! even as I type this.
