So I surfaced from some deadlines and saw the news from Poland: the plane crash. It looks almost incomprehensibly bad. I have nothing useful to say, but I'd be lighting candles if it were my people.

And he's taking 'personal charge' of the investigation, I hear. Still, no one seems to be suggesting anything untoward, nor do I really see what anyone would have to gain by this.
