And always in our ears was the sound of the ocean
Chanteys for the Fisherangels is now available from Papaveria Press.
You may remember I spoke of this project in the winter; I think it is one of the more numinous things I have been involved with. The book collects four poems inspired by James Yorkston's cover of Lal Waterson's "Midnight Feast":
seajules' "The sky is the floor of an ocean," my own "The Coast Guard,"
asakiyume's "Invitation Refused," and
cucumberseed's "Feather, Halo, Hook and Line," with introduction by
nineweaving and photographs by me. I took them in Portland, Maine, where I grew up in the summers by the sea.

There are thirty-three copies, twenty-five of which are available for purchase. They are bound with linen, shells, and feathers, and the sea has worked on them. Go; study; pick one up from the sand and take it home.
erzebet's work is something rich and strange.
