Last night was spent with the Boston Lyric Opera's Ariadne auf Naxos, in which commedia dell' arte and classical myth crash into one another head-on and everybody (especially the audience) wins; today I am running for a train, to spend the next couple of days with hans_the_bold in New Haven. More when I return or have e-mail access, whenever that may be.

Glad you had a good time at the opera. Hope you've made your train and had a good trip and a pleasant stay.

If you're round New Haven of Sunday and have nothing better to do, the session at the Liffey's from four till seven--I'm usually there sometime after five. Could probably convince Joe to let you have a few minutes for a song, if you'd like.
