My meal is an entire goat

Actually, it was only goat curry from a rather cool Indian-Tibetan restaurant on State Street in in Madison, WI, but yuki_onna introduced me to that particular bit of Home Star Runner today and I am way more amused by it than I have any right to be. Which is by way of saying, we are in Wisconsin.* Wisconsin is very flat. Madison, however, has fantastic used book stores; and by tomorrow will have all manner of fantastic people, the combination whereof should be marvelous. We've found the old Dune on Sci-Fi and I have headphones to plug into my computer for the first time in my life: and since I've had about five hours' sleep for the last two days combined, I should head for bed. But at the minute, I may be content. It's kind of cool.

*After ridiculous, ridiculous travel complications, but I will complain about those at some later date.

oh, yum. I'd kill for some good goat curry. Haven't had any in dog's ages.

On the other hand, you have my deepest sympathies for being in a part of the country that's even colder than Ohio.
