I should probably have mentioned I'm in Providence. It appears to be snowing. There is a gas fire making the shadows flicker on the grate. readingthedark is asleep on the couch. The chances that I will have slept enough to be more than minimally coherent tomorrow are small, but the conversation was awesome.

greygirlbeast and humglum (and Hubero and Sméagol) live there. readingthedark does not, but at four in the morning we were not going to tell him to drive back up to Boston in the snow. Even though by this morning it had deliquesced into slush and miserable freezing rain.
