Dare I declare this morning love turned evening deep?

For some good news at the start of a cold month—

You may remember that back in May I had the pleasure of announcing that [livejournal.com profile] erzebet had accepted the four fisherangel poems—variously written by [livejournal.com profile] seajules, [livejournal.com profile] asakiyume, [livejournal.com profile] cucumberseed, and me with the common inspiration of Lal Waterson's "Midnight Feast"—for handbound publication as a miniature from Papaveria Press. My contribution was "The Coast Guard," originally of Sirenia Digest and one of the best poems I think I have written. [livejournal.com profile] nineweaving subsequently offered to write an introduction.

Erzebet offers more details here.

This is going to be such a beautiful book. As they say, watch this space.

It surely will be. I'm glad it will include your sea photos, as well.

*smiles* this is very good news!

Gorgeous indeed: an artists' tribute to an artist. I wish Lal could have seen it.

Beautiful! I loved the 2 books you showed me in September, can't wait to see this one :)

Excellent! Congratulations! And all the assorted and associated sentiments.

It sounds like an amazing edition. Congratulations! I hope someday I can see a copy.

I loved erzebet's description; it reminds me of an essay I published in Black Clock called "Broken Seashells", about the sound of the sky above a landlocked valley on the Isle of Skye, among other things. I think I need to read this collection, but nowhere do I find a reference to its title, unless it's Midnight Feasts. Speaking of feasts, which of your own collections would you recommend I get first?
