I don't mind her howling round my head

It appears to be snowing. Very enthusiastically, onto harvest-colored and still late green, unfallen leaves. Hello, New England?

It seems to have turned back to rain, at least up here. Personally, I seem to recall snow showers in october being fairly normal in my childhood. (Though that Columbus Day blizzard was a bit exceptional)

My.

We had some snow on Thursday, but it was only rain today. I hope you don't lose any trees to it.

In contrast, I appear to be rather sunburnt :/

Yes, it's strange, isn't it? We had snow on all the vibrant color change up north, and it didn't quite know what to make of it. I haven't tried putting the effect into words yet. Have you?
