That night as I walked in my slumber, I waded into the sea-strand
My poem "The Coast Guard" is now in print, or pixel, in Sirenia Digest #41. It has nothing to do with Lovecraft, although it derives from a trip to Cape Cod with
fleurdelis28 in November, part of our continuing exploration of old New England. It can be found, however, between two excellently Lovecraftian stories by
greygirlbeast, a voyeur's glimpse through sacred and terrible dreamlands and a haunting pulled from the sea. Read. Subscribe. Fall in. Don't blame me if you come out differently afterward. Or have trouble thinking about unicorns.

I think she would need permission—Lal Waterson is no longer alive, but James Yorkston certainly is; and the rest of Lal's family. But we could still do a collection of the poems.

They're limited editions, I think, but let me find out if she's even interested in the project first!

Conchs. They make delicious soup.

I'm not sure I've ever had them in soup, but I could well believe it would be delicious.
I've got fond memories of eating conch fritters in the Keys as a child.
Does anyone eat whelks?
