On the alienation front,
lesser_celery has now posted the full TOC for Not One of Us #40, while
asakiyume offers up (with sea-drowned sculptures) a review! As they say, you don't have to take my word for it.

Shall we drink an underwater toast to Mr. Newman?
But there are no cups, only a pitcher...

We can raise the sea to him.

I just heard about it on NPR. And had an email from my college.
We shared an alma mater, and his wife's a cousin in some fashion of mine--third or fourth and twice removed, I think.
Never met him, although apparently lots of people my mother knew ran into him in Westport at one time or another.

Whoa.

My brother says he used to race at Lime Rock, although he never personally saw him.

Or something like that. Coincidence is a funny thing. One of my mother's friends here in town turned out to be not only a third cousin, but to be emailing with one of my uncles about a book he's supposedly writing. Since we've no common family history in New England at all, that was pretty amusing.
My brother says he used to race at Lime Rock, although he never personally saw him.
So I've heard as well.
Your brother's into racing? Interesting. I used to do kung fu with a couple of guys who were into that. I can't remember if they just went to Lime Rock a lot to watch, or if they actually did some racing. (Do they race motorcycles there, or only cars? They were both... not bikers, in the the Hell's Angels sense, but into motorcycling.)
