Before I talk, I should read a book
Things acquired in the last two days that make me happy: a Mission of Burma T-shirt, the one for Vs. (1982) and now the sixth band shirt I own, if one counts Stiff Kitten; a pristine (and signed) hardcover of Elizabeth Hand's Generation Loss (2007), inexplicably filed on the $2.95 cart outside of Raven Used Books and spotted by
nineweaving; and Veronica Tatton-Brown's Ancient Cyprus (1997), a publication of the British Museum discovered in McIntyre and Moore's and full of artifacts I would like to see in person. Today also involved, briefly, the MFA, J.M.W. Turner, and the first twenty minutes of Rosemary's Baby (1968). Not all at the same time, which could have been interesting. But as days go, this one was actually quite nice. Now if only I were asleep, I'd be in a really good mood.
If it has not been done already, there is a gorgeous vid cycle for Pirates of the Caribbean (Dead Man's Chest and At World's End) waiting in Sting's The Soul Cages (1991). This sentence is brought to you by earworms, three in the morning, and the letter B.

Just the first twenty minutes?? One of my favorite films, by the way...

I had a doctor's appointment at nine o'clock this morning, so I had to stop watching before the point where I wouldn't be able to tear myself away. But I really like what I saw!

The rest of it was extremely good, too!

Those Cypriot earrings are splendid. The British Museum is lovely, and I hope you can get to see it in the not-so-distant future. There's a little bronze of Epona I'd like to visit again, myself.
I hope you can sleep tonight.
