Who wants the dreams that you dream to be everyday happenings?

My contributor's copy of Mythic Delirium #18 arrived this afternoon, which puts my poems "Eurydike in New England" and "All That Jazz Going On Upstairs" in the company of Stephen Malin's "February Etching," [livejournal.com profile] asakiyume's "Mao on the Hill," and [livejournal.com profile] handful_ofdust's astonishing "Mrs. Margery Lovett, Her Book," to name just a few. Go; pick up a copy. There's good stuff within.

Speaking of good stuff, my poem "Titania's Dream" has just been accepted by Lone Star Stories. I am particularly pleased about this one, because it was last rejected as part of a rotten week; now it'll be published in August. Luck breeds luck. No complaint.

Yay! This is a welcome twofold lesson: (a) even very successful poets like yourself get rejected and (b) if we keep trying, we can turn rejection into acceptance.

I loved "February Etching" :-)

Wow! That poem is amazing--I copied it right down. Yes, judging by his poetry, he seems very interesting. He needs an LJ!

I will write more poetry.

Oh excellent. I'm really happy to hear about it. I'll need to go congratulate asakiyume as well; I really adored "Mao."

Likewise "Eurydike." I'm not sure if I've seen "Jazz" or "Titania's Dream." I'll seek them out (next week, when I am no longer broke from rent and insurance and the other fixed expenses that crowd around the first of the month).

Congrats! And thanks for the plug...I'm expecting my copy later this week (hopefully).
