Heh. Lotta stuff this Derby is gonna buy me. Of course, I actually have to hit something over the course of a weekend. (I haven't had a really good Derby weekend since 2001, when Monarchos and Invisible Ink gave me the sickest exacta payout of my life, over $1300 for every $2).

Family's planning a trip to Niagara Falls for memorial day weekend, so I deperately need a copy of Ghosts of Niagara (http://www.hospitalproductions.com/) with which to distress everyone...

My parents are going, but to the split version the week before. They invited me along, but that's the week I have dress rehearsals for my chorus concert. They didn't mention the 4-hour version on May 4th. Hmm. I will have to investigate. I may not have the time and money, but I am seriously tempted.

Anne Sofie von Otter as Dido? Wow. From what I've seen/heard of her, she's fantastic. (I saw her as Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito at the Met.)

You have to look a little in the online calendar to find it, but it's there. And looks more like six hours.
