To guise away October and build November fires
Today brought contributor's copies of Jabberwocky #3, and snow. I am very pleased to see "The Waters Where Once We Lay" finally in print; it was written in collaboration with
lesser_celery in 2005, and I hope it will not be our last poem together. "The Wedding in Hell" will probably amuse
nineweaving more than anyone else, but I like it. And the rest of the collection is pure mythic awesome from
watermelontail,
strange_selkie,
lynnejamneck,
yuki_onna, and
time_shark, to name just a few. Also, Oscar Wilde. I would have liked the snow to stick for more than a quarter inch before drizzling off into rain and raw damp, but at least at this temperature I will have an excuse to build a fire for Thanksgiving.
Clementines are in season. And I want this book.

You should write more things. Then people would publish them. They're good.

I very much doubt it, but this is when Wilson Farms starts selling them, and therefore when I start eating six to eight a day.

Apparently in the southern hemisphere they do. ;-)
I'm quite pleased by this, myself.
