My first published short story, "Shade and Shadow" (Not One of Us #26, September 2001), is now available as a chapbook from Prime Books.



Consider it a foretaste of Singing Innocence and Experience. A three-dollar one, at that.

Just ordered me a copy, and I'm looking forward to it. I didn't realize that Prime did chapbooks, but I think it's a really good promotional idea for your collection.

Prime has just started with the chapbooks. Forthcoming are also Catherynne M. Valente's Oracles: A Pilgrimage and Nick Mamatas' Cthulhu Senryu—both poetry—and most likely other projects I don't know about. There are tentative plans for a chapbook novella, on my part. But this alone makes me happy. Among other things, I love that painting.
