Ghostly fingers moving my limbs

The mail brought two very good things this afternoon: my contributor's copy of Not One of Us #38 (which contains my pieces "Bones and Bitters" and "Critical" as well as excellent contributions from [livejournal.com profile] morbidmom04, [livejournal.com profile] upstart_crow, and [livejournal.com profile] kythiaranos, among others) and Sarah Monette's The Bone Key: The Necromantic Mysteries of Kyle Murchison Booth (which contains one of my favorite fictional characters). Today was mostly a failure on all fronts, but I curled up with words I liked, and it was better. Thank you, art.

Thank you

Yay! Your kind words just made my evening. Now I can't wait for my copy to arrive.

Thank you. I have to credit John with that. His editorial direction was a huge help.

Thanks for the kind words. This gives me a reason to go to the mailbox today.

Oh, yes! That means I will be able to read some new things of yours soon. I'll have to make sure my subsription is still going with NOU, but I think it is. Congratulations! Wow, have you ever counted how many stories and poems you've had published--probably more than most people have in a lifetime. That's a tribute to your talent.

Have a good weekend!

Yes, your NOU subscription is still going. We'll be mailing the subscribers' copies during the coming week.

Thank you :D

I got mine on the same day. Glad you liked "La Sirena." It was initially going to be included in Ossuary, but as this issue of NOU was coming out at roughly the same time, I just wrote a replacement poem :)
