I need to float another night
I am returned from New Haven; we have lit the yahrzeit candles. Mission of Burma at Toad's Place were phenomenal, whatever rustiness they warned the audience about; if this was a mediocre show, then I can only expect miracles from the next. (I will need a better grade of earplugs, though.)
ericmvan is a very good traveling companion, with or without a driver's side mirror.
schreibergasse and Grace are incredibly flexible and forgiving people. I need to keep in better contact with
hans_the_bold. I am owed baby pictures by one of my professors; it was very good to talk to another about my life at the moment. It is first, however, imperative that I sleep. Tomorrow we are re-sealing the driveway.

Hope you slept well, and that resealing is as pleasant as it can be.

It was mindless and therefore surprisingly fun. We got through three-quarters of the driveway before running out of sealant, so we'll finish the rest tomorrow; I fortunately turned out to have a pair of very old shoes that I'd completely forgotten about; it's the closest I'll ever come to paying the seams of a ship with pitch.

Pity you couldn't have done it Wednesday, then. ;-)
And hurrah for convenient old shoes.
Hope tommorrow is equally surprisingly fun.
