And the mirror revealed a face she didn't know

Today was mostly a loss in terms of sleep and staring at the screen, but later in the evening I watched an unintended double feature of The Prisoner of Zenda (1937) and Outrageous! (1977) and that was a great improvement. I may attempt to talk intelligently about one of these movies at some point, but not tonight.*

*Except: Craig Russell's voice. Wow.

I really need to learn how to make icons. I have been wanting one of Ronald Colman as Sydney Carton for nearly a year now.

Is this the fellow?
ImageImage

I just whipped those up from some of the first images that came up in a google image search. Basically, an lj icon is any jpg or gif image equal to or less than 100 x 100 pixels.

Well, I posted a shareware copy of Paint Shop Pro on my blog a little while ago . . .

Here. (http://www.anelnoath.com/pspsware.zip) I don't know if it'll work on a mac, though. Failing that, if you send me an image and tell me what text you want on it, I can make icons for you.

PhotoShop (http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Graphics/Adobe-Photoshop-CS.shtml) might work for you. I can't vouch for the site or the programme. I use Paint Shop Pro--and the old version 5, at that. But I'm told anybody who's anybody uses PhotoShop.

I'm actually surprised your computer doesn't have any image editing software. Windows has come with a version of Paint since forever, though I don't remember how good it was for resizing images. Mac users usually brag about how their computers are made with artists in mind, so I assume the mac would at least come with a default analogous programme. I advise you to poke around (assuming my Paint Shop Pro doesn't work).
